Demographics

The broad range of information available from the Australian Bureau of Statistic (ABS) census provides a wealth of information about the markets.

This information can be grouped together to determined total population or household counts in trade areas and concentrations of particular variables can be viewed using coloured heat maps.

Viewing the information on maps is a useful method to quickly assess market opportunities and explain the data to others.

The census was conducted on the 8th August 2006 and the information is available at a Census District, Postcode or at a Local Government Area.
